Cable assembly company CiS electronic GmbH can look back on a successful 2015
The CiS Group, which has its headquarters in Krefeld, Germany, and production sites in Czechia and Romania, can look back on a successful and particularly eventful 2015. A great deal happened in the course of this anniversary year, in which the CiS Group celebrated 40 years of operation as well as further notable successes.
Turnover was again up on the previous year and CiS recorded stronger growth than the market as a whole. This was mainly achieved by the high level of satisfaction among existing customers, but was also attributable to newly acquired customers. CiS continues to focus on sustainable growth in all areas and is making intensive preparations for the industrial changes expected in the next decade.
A production site has been established in Axente Sever, Romania, in order to enhance the company’s expertise in the field of large-scale series production for the automotive industry and industries with large series production volumes. Through the acquisition of ‘BMB Kabeltechnik GmbH’ from Paderborn, which has a production site in Copsa Mica, Romania, the CiS Group has been able to continue its ‘iSpeed’ growth-oriented strategy.
Three additional halls with a combined production space of more than 3,000 m² were put into operation in Hejnice in the Czech Republic.
“We are proud that more than 1,100 employees now belong to the CiS family. Last year was a demanding one for the entire CiS team, but it was also particularly successful and eventful. Therefore, I would first like to thank all our employees for their great commitment in their day-to-day work and especially our customers for their loyalty and collaborative partnership,” remarks Peter M. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group.
As a highly respected brand assembly company, CiS focuses on sustainable concepts, quality, speed and reliability in serving its customers who, for their part, consider CiS to be one of the leading companies on the market. Customers particularly value the active contribution of CiS to their “total cost of ownership” and thus to boosting their competitiveness. The strategy of CiS is aimed at further expanding its leading position in the sectors of engineering, automation, automotive, medical technology, banking, instrumentation and control technology, transport, traffic and railway technology, energy and environmental engineering.
